Bamboo Garden in Castleconnell
Today, Lees of the Shannon stores which is run by Paddy’s son George and his wife Ester and family still plays a vital role in the life of our village, with its beautiful displays of colourful pot plants and flowers, and its delivery of coal and gas to far flung houses in our parish. It could be said without doubt that it is “pulse” of Castleconnell, just like the great Shannon River, may the shop continue forever.
The Mission of the Credit Union is to promote the financial well being of its members.
